Mark David Lewis (b.1970 Keynsham, Bristol) is a UK-based artist/photographer.

1989: Self-taught himself photography, heavily influenced by the Japanese 'Provoke' style, especially the work of Daido Moriyama.

1996 - 2014: Established and operated his portrait studio in Bath, Somerset. His work during this time garnered fourteen industry-recognised distinctions in photography and darkroom printing.

2006: Qualified as an associate of The Royal Photographic Society of Great Britain.

2007: Awarded Fujifilm National Portrait Photographer of the Year.

2014: Closed his studio and took some time to study historical photographic processes and pursue personal projects.

Today, Mark has been operating as a professional for around thirty years and to date has shot more than five hundred weddings and many more portraits. He works primarily with film capture and specialises in black-and-white darkroom.
